Our complex is located right in the heart of downtown Buffalo and is connected via public transit to virtually anywhere in the greater Niagara region.  Whether you’re in town for a Sabres game, visiting from the suburbs or you’re one of the increasing number of Buffalonians living, working and playing downtown, we’re just a short journey from your destination.

Downtown Buffalo has numerous attractions during all seasons.  In the winter, you might find yourself at Canalside, skating in the canals that once served as a gateway to the Great Lakes.  In the spring, you can make your way to Buffalo’s theater district which is home to Shea’s Performing Arts Center, hosting several off-Broadway musical tours each season.  The summers in Buffalo are peaceful and warm.  Make your way to one of our many parks, a system designed by Frederick Law Olmsted himself to be a model for parks systems across the country.  Fall brings the change of leaves and also turns Buffalo’s blood Blue, Red & Gold.  Be sure to take in a Sabres hockey game downtown or Bills football game in Orchard Park just a short drive away.

Buffalo boasts some of the country’s great architecture.  Starting at our own Liberty Building, you can walk just a short distance and find yourself in awe of Louis Sullivan’s Guaranty Building, or head west and tour Buffalo’s City Hall, one of the tallest & most expensive municipal buildings in the country.  Frank Lloyd Wright also made his mark in Buffalo with several architectural marvels, including the Darwin-Martin house in North Buffalo.  Not too far from the Darwin-Martin house is the Buffalo Zoo, and from there you’re minutes away from the Albright-Knox Art Museum, the Buffalo Museum of Science and the Buffalo Historical Society.  Heading south from our complex, attractions include the Pierce-Arrow Car Museum, which honors the history of this great Buffalo-born auto manufacturer and the Botanical Gardens, part of Olmsted’s vision and one of less than a dozen Victorian Gardens left in the United States.

If food is your vice, Buffalo has that covered too.  Buffalo is home of the chicken wing and offers great comfort food.  Buffalo is also home to over two dozen breweries, many located within walking distance from our complex.  Fine dining is offered throughout the city as are numerous food festivals, including the National Buffalo Wing Festival, held on Labor Day Weekend, and the Taste of Buffalo held in the summer.

The Main Place Liberty Group complex is serviced by 3 parking structures, the Main Place Mall ramp located underneath the mall, the Fernbach ramp located opposite the mall & Liberty Building on Pearl Street and the Adam ramp located one block from the Main Place Tower. For more information on the Main Place Mall Parking Garage, please visit the website of our parking manager, Pay2Park, here.
